Summary:  To accelerate growth in business by supporting strategic activities with the Architecture & Design Community, the Corporate Real Estate Community, and key new business accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide behind-the-scene support for Creative Strategists in the Central and Coastal regions to expedite their response time and quality to our design partners. Activities include, but are not limited to, product research, budgeting, development of thought starters, and development of presentation materials.
  • Collaborating with the Office Manager, provide planning and execution support for influencer events and engagements.
  • Execute their job with a positive attitude, a competitive spirit, and with a proactive, entrepreneurial posture.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with key members of the Architecture & Design Community and the Corporate Real Estate Community through targeted interactions.
  • Support creative strategies to increase market awareness of Creative’s products and services.
  • Regularly participate in industry networking events, which may occur during and outside of normal business hours.
  • Help to accelerate key new business opportunities (as identified by Sales Leadership) by providing expedited support (product research, budgeting, thought starters, etc) in support of those projects.
  • Complete regular training and learning opportunities with our key manufacturing partners to maintain your status as a product knowledge expert.
  • Maintain regular documentation of project status and win percentage.
  • Analyze performance data, identifying trends and opportunities

Education and / or Experience:

  • Degree in Interior Design
  • 2+ years commercial design experience, 2+ years Sales Experience
  • Familiarity with CET, Sketch-Up, or similar program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings and floor plans

Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Primary Environment:  Ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment found in a typical office. Occasional exposure to building areas where use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, hearing protection and safety glasses may be required.
