Position: Project Designer
Reports to: Design Manager
Essential Functions:
- Analyze client needs and workplace requirements to create unique and distinctive design solutions.
- Attend team meetings with Project Managers, General Contractors, Account Managers, and End Users.
- Coordinate all phases of the design process to ensure satisfactory completion.
- Research design solutions from product options to meet budgetary needs and aesthetic intent.
- Site verifications and field measurements.
- Programming, Conceptual design development, Installation drawings, and Specifications.
- Bills of Materials
- Bid prep/response
- Renderings
- Finish Selections
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with deadlines.
- Technology fluent
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Education & Experience:
- 4 year degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
- NCIDQ Certification a plus.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in a commercial furniture dealership or the interior A&D field.
Software:
- Proficient in office computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, AutoCAD or REVIT)
- Experience with CET, Sketchup, or 20/20
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but employee will be attending client meetings and doing field measurements. Required to stand or walk 10% of the time and lift maximum of 10-15 pounds.
