Creative Technology Group (CTG) is responsible for developing, implementing, and enabling clients with high quality audio visual and associated control systems.
The successful candidate must be passionate about AV/IT, a life-long learner, enjoy a dynamic challenging work environment, a good communicator, and excel in a team-oriented workplace. Candidate will be responsible for audio-visual systems design on a range of projects, which may include but not be limited to:
- AV Presentation Systems
- Videoconferencing Systems
- Collaboration Systems
- Speech Privacy / Sound Masking
- Video & Audio “Capture”
- Digital Signage
- Large Format Video Walls
- Room Scheduling Systems
Focused on installed audio-visual systems, the role will also require knowledge and experience in construction, acoustics, and control systems typically found in AV installations. The role will include the preparation and co-ordination of audio-visual design advice for the development of projects across a broad range of market sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting clients and/or Architects to determine AV requirements, site conditions, delivering presentations etc.
- Developing AV systems design from concept through to detailed construction drawings.
- Working with other engineers and designers
- Developing quotes based on consultants’ design for large bid opportunities
- Producing system schematics.
- Producing layout drawings.
- Reviewing reports.
- Site inspections, surveys, and system commissioning if required.
In addition to the designer’s role, you will be expected to support the team and practices by:
- Attending group and team meetings.
- Submitting weekly timesheets and monitoring project progress against milestone and financial targets.
- Attending trade exhibitions and training courses.
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in designing AV systems such as:
- Meeting rooms/ boardrooms / training rooms
- Video and audio conferencing.
- Digital signage / Public Information systems.
- Control systems.
- Key areas of experience include Corporate training & Conference/Boardrooms, schools and universities.
- Understanding of the latest digital systems (HDMI, DisplayPort, HD-SDI), content streaming.
- AutoCAD 20xx intermediate level.
- Microsoft Office
Desirable:

- CTS Certification
- Cisco CCNA Collaboration
- Experience with D-Tools
- Experience and/or certification in teams-based collaboration technologies such as Zoom, MS Teams, etc.
- Experience and/or certification in one or more IT technologies (i.e. networking, security, data storage, wireless, etc.)
